POWER CYCLE GUIDE

If you are having internet problems we recommend you power cycle our equipment. The power cycle process is described below.

PoE injector

STEP 1

Find your PoE Injector and verify that the “Power Active” light is on. If the “Power Active” light is on, continue to step #2. If the “Power Active” light is NOT on, check to make sure it is plugged into the wall or surge protector.

Power cord being unplugged

STEP 2

Follow the PoE Injector’s power cord, and unplug it from the wall.

Power active light

STEP 3

Wait until the “Power Active” light has dimmed completely (30 seconds), then plug back into the wall outlet. It could take up to five minutes for your connection to be restored. If the Internet comes back up, your connection has been restored. If your connection has not been restored and you have a router, please continue to step #4.

Connection between LAN Port and Internet/WAN Port

STEP 4

Find your PoE Injector and verify that the “Power Active” light is on. If the “Power Active” light is on, continue to step #2. If the “Power Active” light is NOT on, check to make sure it is plugged into the wall or surge protector.

STEP 5

Please verify your wire connections. The PoE injector has 2 network cables plugged into it. The cable that goes into the “PoE” port is the cable that goes to either a plate in your wall or out to the radio mounted on the outside of your home. The cable that is on the “LAN” side should be plugged into the Internet/WAN port of your router, or your single computer.
